Community Ice Skating Is Coming

The countdown to the Kendall Square ice skating rink has begun - opening day is right around the corner!

Well, it’s almost that time of year again – we are starting to see our breath and bring out the puffy winter coats. Instead of letting the lowering temperatures get us down, we’re thinking about all the fun that comes with winter in Boston: beautiful snow, hot chocolate, holiday fun and of course, ice skating at Kendall Square!

We are so excited for our Community Ice Skating to start! Admission is just $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and $1 for children 13 and under. Bring your own skates, or rent a pair from us. If you want to come with a large group of friends, no problem! Just give us a call in advance so we know to expect you. If you would rather rent out the rink privately, it costs $200 an hour with an hour and a half rental minimum.

If you, or your children, are hesitant about skating, have no worries! Learn to Skate classes are available for children, along with private one-on-one lessons as well.

With the city skyline as a backdrop and the stars twinkling above, we think skating is the best way to enjoy winter outdoors in Boston. There will be some theme nights including live music and vendors to add to the fun. Keep checking back for updates to the schedule.

If you have any questions, feel free to email us here (http://www.skatekendall.com/skating/email.php) or give us a call at 617-492-0941.We’ll see you at the rink!
