Join us for a virtual conversation about health justice, equity, and access with CNN commentator Dr. Chris T. Pernell.
Health justice and health equity are tied to access to comprehensive healthcare. Health justice can be achieved through legal and policy solutions that account for all members of a community–recognizing that social identities like race play a large role–and access to healthcare that fits community members’ specific needs. As we continue into the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the practice of health justice is increasingly important to consider the wellbeing of everyone in a community.
