Meet the MIT Solar Electric Vehicle Team and explore their latest single-occupancy solar electric vehicle, Nimbus.
Winner of the American Solar Challenge in 2021 and 2022, Nimbus traveled from Independence, Missouri to Twin Falls, Idaho over eight days. Hear from team captain Adrienne Lai, vice-captain Tessa Uviedo, and business lead Maria Cotez. The program will also feature James Worden, founding member of the team.
The Solar Electric Vehicle Team is a student group at MIT, working under the auspices of the Edgerton Center. Nimbus is currently on display in the Museum lobby.
