With five generations of individuals in the workplace, the opportunity for ageism and adultism increase. In this webinar, Dr. Victoria Verlezza will explore the concepts of ageism and adultism, discuss how we can mitigate the biases that come along with ageism and adultism, and provide actionable strategies to bring to your workplaces.

About the Facilitator:
Dr. Victoria Verlezza is an advocate for social justice and the abolition of unjust systems. As a scholar practitioner, she believes in educating in an accessible and meaningful way. With fifteen years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion work, Victoria strives to meet people where they are in their learning journey but also add value by pushing them to their learning edge. As a coach, facilitator, and educator, she finds tremendous value in dialogue to challenge our own perspectives and thereby challenge the systems in which we work and live. Victoria enjoys taking a practical approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion work, making connections with psychology and human development to help us better understand ourselves as individuals.

Victoria has a doctorate in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University, a master’s in Social Justice Education and Higher Education from UMass, Amherst. Her undergraduate work focused on Psychology; Women and Gender studies; Holocaust and Genocide studies. Victoria holds certification in social justice mediation as well as intergroup dialogue. She is passionate about working to abolish inequity in all spaces. She works towards dismantling social injustice to fight for liberation of all people.
