SWEAT: Accessible Movement

Join us for a movement class with Ellice Patterson, fully accessible to all.

About this event

This program is presented in collaboration with our friends at The Dance Complex.

Ellice will integrate ballet teachings to generate shared movements and tell a co-created story. This class will be captioned.

  • Don’t forget your water bottle!
  • This will be an outdoor class – make sure to wear comfortable clothing
  • If this is your first time at our Sweat & Reset program, please arrive a few minutes early to fill out a waiver

Keeping us safe: This event will follow all MIT policies and Covid safety guidelines. Face coverings are not required outdoors for vaccinated individuals, but you are most welcome to wear one if you wish. For unvaccinated individuals, wearing a face covering outdoors is required when unable to maintain 3 feet of physical distance.

About The Dance Complex: The Dance Complex is a 25+ year old central hub of dance – locally, with connections to the New England region and in dialogue with the inter/national dance field. The Dance Complex enables the creation, study, and performance of dance, sustaining artists, audiences, and the community through programs that connect movement and ideas and celebrating the wonder and curiosity of dance for all.
