ARPA-H investments are supporting the development of high-impact solutions to most challenging health problems with the goal of transforming important areas of medicine and health that cannot readily be accomplished through traditional research or commercial activity. Since it was established in 2022, They opened up submissions for their 1^st BAA (Broad Agency Announcement) which is on a rolling basis until March 2024. They have funded 7 projects as of October 2023. Focus areas illustrate the types of work and impact that ARPA-H pursues and hires the 1^st Program Managers who are framing a challenge and awards projects to teams.
