The Impact of Your Vote: How your vote up and down the ballot affects the issues you care about

It is easy to get discouraged with the presidential election. Join MITvote on October 14th at 6:30pm to talk about how your vote will make an impact in other races! The event will feature two panelists: Charles Stewart from MIT course 17 and co-founder of the Healthy Elections Project, and Bina Venkataramaan, editor for the Boston Globe and science policy expert who worked in the Obama White House. Get Out the Vote Festival

Join college students around Boston for a voting celebration on October 12th at 6pm!The event will feature headliners and artists like Yo-Yo Ma and Bren Joy, and there will be voter registration help and voter education materials on site. There will also be chances to speak to civic engagement organizations. The event is open to all Boston-area college students, and is sponsored by the UA, MITvote, and a variety of cultural groups on campus. More information on Facebook.
